The Buckets Story,
It all started in 1981 when I got my first look into the screen-printing industry as a young boy. As years went on, I was involved in large events producing Superbowl, World Series, famous rock band shirts, large events all along the way learning as much as I could about this industry and the new supplies coming out. As other parts of this decorating industry were changing, I then transitioned to embroidery and digital as the market demanded for these new processes of decorating apparel.
About ten years ago I branched out on my own and reached out to manufactures that I had built good relationships with about selling their products. I had always had the entrepreneur big in me to not only be my own boss but to help pass on what I did learn in this industry. Just a few years with the wheel rolling I was in a serious accident which keep me from do much of anything. I was lucky to have good people around me who keep the wheel moving and the doors still open to some customers. After 5 years I was about as good as I was going to be and now it was time to do the things to make the business what I wanted.
We ordered a new delivery van fully loaded with shelving, refrigeration, graphics rap on the entire outside, Wi-Fi, printer, and so much more. “Let’s Bring the Store to Your Door” and we were making customers happy with free local delivery. This new step came on fast and were built up good customer and friends with our dependable fast service. Over the next year we ordered another van, hired another driver to give even better service. Currently we have grown to 3 vans and 5 employees with many new things in the “Bucket for the up-coming year.
One of our new team leaders is Brad Carter who is leading up or equipment sales division. He has already is short time been a big asset in retooling our inventory management systems, dialing in van inventory, and streamlining our order workflow for faster and more efficient deliveries. Our other new team members include one new driver and a new shop assistant who help process order for van deliveries and online sales.
Over the next few years, we still have big dreams and goals at Buckets of Ink, but most of all keep building great relationships with new and existing our customers.
